Baaria delivers a quintessentially luxury, Italian café encompassing the Sicilian experience from sunrise to sunset. Serving handmade artisanal bakery products, Baaria works exclusively with Italian sourced ingredients to bring the ‘Mignon’ to the UK, along with innovative cocktails and barista brewed coffee blends.

We were appointed to develop the brand identity of this Charing Cross restaurant to express this modern take on a traditional Sicilian dining experience. The owners Alex and Riccardo wanted a place that was quirky, memorable and attuned to the authenticity of the Italian produce they serve, but without ever becoming a cliche.

Sicilian from sunrise to sunset the customer base changes as the day moves on and the design needed to flexible enough to embrace this. From the morning commuter popping in for their first caffeine hit and pastry fix of the day, to the night time clientele looking to relax and enjoy a cocktail and aperitivo.
